The Toys for Tots campaign kicked off Saturday at the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. With tough economic times, organizers say this year is crucial. Toys for Tots says there's a 20 to 30 percent increase in the number of requests this year.

The trolley will be making its way across Northern Michigan starting Monday December 1st.
