CHEBOYGAN -- The Cheboygan Opera House was awarded more than $16,000 from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs. The purpose of the grant is to help fund expansion, renovation and construction projects at cultural facilities in the state. The opera house will use the money to pay for new stage draperies and plaster repair.
