CADILLAC -- Four Winns, which is based in Cadillac, laid off workers last week. The president of the company, Jeff Olson, would not give a specific number of workers involved in the lay off but says it's "not" seasonal and directly related to the current economic troubles. Olson tells 7& 4 News Four Winns has been impacted by credit markets at both the wholesale and retail levels. International sales, which amount to at least half of Four Winns business, have been hit especially hard, with the prices of boats in some countries going up as much as 30 percent.
