An Alpena teen is behind bars after police say he assaulted a 14 year old. Police say the 17 year old Alpena man struck the 14 year old victim multiple times in the head and body. The incident allegedly started over the 14 year old smoking with the suspects younger brother. The victim was taken to the hospital. The suspect is in the Alpena County Jail on felonious assault charges awaiting arraignment.
