Charlevoix woman latest death in Meningitis outbreak

CHARLEVOIX -- A Charlevoix County woman is one of two more people from Michigan to have died from the Meningitis outbreak.

The woman was 81-years-old. The other death was a 64-year-old woman from Wayne County.

The Department of Community Health says there have now been 62 Michigan Meningitis cases, including eight deaths.

The illness is linked to contaminated steroids made by a Massachusetts pharmacy.
