Man arrested with loaded AK-47

BAGLEY TOWNSHIP -- Michigan State Police responded to a call of a drive-by shooting in Bagley Township in Otsego County.

Around 12:30 am, Police received a call of a drive-by shot fired at a home. The bullet shattered the sliding glass door. As police were on their way to the home, they received a second call saying the suspect's vehicle had returned and driven by the residence a second time. Police had a description and stopped the vehicle on Orange Grove and McCoy Road.

The driver is identified as a 51-year-old man from Gaylord. A loaded AK-47 was recovered from the vehicle.

No one was hurt.

The driver was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying with Unlawful Intent, and Operating While Intoxicated.
