ACME -- Northern Michigan is known for it's wine and fruits and an upcoming event this week in Acme hopes to keep it that way.

The 2012 Orchard and Vineyard show will be held January 24-25 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan.

Hundreds of fruit growers and wine makers will come together Tuesday to share ideas and concerns for the future of their industries.

Cherry, apple, and wine-grape growers and vendors will talk about things like getting fresh products to market faster and dealing with bug and pest problems.

Registration opens at 8:00am on January 24th, and the cost for both days is $30, which is payable at the door.
