Thousands will take part in the 23rd Annual Victorian Sleighbell Parade and Old Christmas Weekend.
MANISTEE -- UpNorthLive's Facebook fans voted to hear more about one community's old fashioned Christmas celebration.
Thousands of people will take part in the 23rd Annual Victorian Sleighbell Parade and Old Christmas Weekend in Manistee.
You can take a step back in time as the city decks out in its Victorian era theme. Horse teams pull Christmas trees to decorate just in time for the annual Sleighbell Parade. You can also take in the sights and sounds of the era with roasted chestnuts and carolers.
Special Christmas events will also be taking pace at the historic Ramsdell Theatre, Festival of Trees, concerts, museum and art exhibits.
The event begins Thursday, December 1 and continues through Sunday. More information can be found by clicking here.
