TRAVERSE CITY -- UpNorthLive's facebook fans voted to hear more about speed networking and how an upcoming event could be the first step in finding a new career!

The Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce is a great place to start your job search or gather information on a possible new career.

Meet 24 Chamber members and find out what they do and how they may be able to help you.  The cost is just one hour of your time with Speed Networking.  Reach out to the business leaders in your community and start the process of fostering new opportuntiies.  The facilitated systematic method will connect chamber members in a very short time period.

The Speed Networking event will take place November 16 from 4-5 pm.  It will be held at the Hagerty Center, which is at Northwestern Michigan College's Great Lakes Campus. Pre-registration is required.  Call 231-995-7101 or
Email.

You can view a list of job openings on the Chamber's website here.
