Public stakeholders can come and check out the first draft.
TRAVERSE CITY -- The first draft of the Grand Vision plan for several Northern Michigan counties is going on display for the public to see. Input from tens of thousands of community members in Grand Traverse, Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Wexford, and Leelanau counties was collected. From all of that data project leaders put together a draft plan detailing regional land use and transportation planning ideas for the next 50 years.
The draft will be on display tomorrow at the Hagerty Center in Traverse City from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Those who attend will have the chance to join in discussions about the draft. Other comments can be submitted online before February 18.
The draft will go on display in the other included counties. Antrim County's open house starts at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, at the Antrim County Building.
