TRAVERSE CITY -- During Pet Talk on 7&4 News Today, Dr. Jen Klabunde talked about the parvovirus and how to prevent in your puppy or adult dog. Dr. Klabunde says there are certain signs and symptoms that pet owners need to keep an eye out for but there is a way to prevent the virus altogether.
Dr. Klabunde also brought a female pit-bull terrier mix on the show that is up for adoption. The puppy is already fixed but needs a safe and secure home.
- Signs of Parvovirus:
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Lethargy
