KALKASKA -- Crews in Kalkaska County spent part of the night cleaning up more than 100,000 pounds of spilled spuds.

A semi truck driver ran off the road Wednesday night on Saunders Road in Kalkaska.   The semi tipped over in the ditch when the driver was trying to get back onto the road.

The truck was carrying a load of potatoes from Jenkins Potato Farm, which was near where the accident happened.  7&4 News is told the driver was not hurt.
