Man arrested for having prescription drugs, not prescribed to him

HART -- A 20 year-old Wyoming man is facing felony charges, after police discovered he was in possession of prescription medication, that was not prescribed to him.

State Police say on Friday, State Troopers pulled over the suspect in Oceana County's Hart Township, for a  vehicle violation.

Further investigation determined that the man was in possession of prescription meds, that were not prescribed to him.

The man was lodged at the Oceana County Jail for possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. His name is being withheld, pending his arraignment.

Possession of Schedule II prescription medication is a Felony, punishable by up to two years in prison.
