It's an annual tradition that brings in thousands of skiers.

Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek Resorts hosted their annual "Ski Free with Santa" event.

There is no lift ticket charge.

The resort sees about 2,500 skiers and riders each year and they say this year is no exception.

Shanty Creek partnered with The Father Fred Foundation for this year's event. Volunteers have been collecting food and clothing for the foundation.

They say the partnership is expected to continue again for next year's event.
