TRAVERSE CITY -- Who doesn't love adopting a brand new pet, especially those animals who desperately need a home.
That's why Saturday afternoon the AC Paw animal rescue organization held an adopt-a-thon at the Cherry Capital Subaru in Traverse City.
People were able to come out and rescue a dog or cat. Six dogs were adopted and one cat through the event.
If you couldn't make it out the adopt-a-thon but would like to adopt a new dog or cat, AC Paw will also be at Pet Smart in Traverse City where you can adopt or bring your dog or cat to get a picture with Santa!
