Prosecutors in Grand Traverse County have said that there is insufficient evidence to move forward with charges against the driver who took the life of a 6-year-old boy this summer.
Zeke Goodwin from Williamsburg was riding his bike on a service road along the eastern edge of the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds when a pick-up truck backing up on the drive hit him.
Zeke was taken to Devos Children's Hospital where he later died.
After the accident, the Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office said they were considering charges against the driver. As of late October, however, prosecutors said they were no longer moving forward with the case.
