Low pressure forming in the plains will cross through the straits on Monday, bringing warm temps and rain Sunday, switching over to all snow by Monday.

Quiet weather for Saturday night with just some clouds hanging around, and we'll start Sunday with some sunshine.

As we head into the afternoon, expect cloud cover to increase and rain/freezing rain/wintry mix to make it's way in from the west. We'll see highs in the 30s across Northern Michigan, and even some low 40s, and most will see rain. However, as we get into the evening (or if you're in the northernmost counties) expect more of a mix.

Overnight into Monday, the E. U.P. may pick up 2-5" in sleet and snow accumulation. Elsewhere, we'll still see a lot of rain - but with lows hovering right around freezing, icy roads for your commute aren't out of the question, especially inland.

The low crosses eastward Monday, changing everyone's precip over to snow, and many will pick up around 1-2" by Monday night.
