TRAVERSE CITY -- Air passengers taking flight out of Traverse City can expect travel to go back to normal Wednesday, after some weather delays and cancellations.

Delta will resume service out of Cherry Capital Airport with an incoming flight at 11:19am Wednesday.  Delta cancelled five flights Tuesday and two flights Wednesday morning due to wind concerns.

American and United continued flights with some delays Tuesday.  United also experienced one cancellation due to air traffic control backups in Chicago.

Delta's flight arriving in Traverse City at 11:19am will depart at 11:45am.

Air passengers are asked to contact airlines directly for updates and any rebooking needs.  As the weather improves flights should return to normal for many locations, however, flights heading to the east coast will continue to be impacted for several days.
