TRAVERSE CITY -- You can put your artistic skills to use all while helping out a good cause for Goodwill's annual Reinvention Convention.

Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan is asking for artists who can reuse, recreate and reinvent anything found at the Goodwill store into artistic masterpieces.

You have until February 1 to register for the convention and you can do that at the Traverse City Goodwill Store, Pure Essence Salon or McMillens Custom Framing in Traverse City. It only costs $20 to register and once you do you will get $30 in Goodwill Bucks to use at the Traverse City store.

All the entries will be displayed at the Gallery Show in downtown Traverse City on March 1 and 2. You can vote on your favorite piece of art by donating $1. All proceeds will go to benefit Goodwill programs across the area.

For more on the Reinvention Convention you can visit the Goodwill or call Lilly at 231-995-7742.
