A 19-year-old Clare County man is behind bars after police say he tried to run down two people with his car.

HARRISON -- A 19-year-old Clare County man is behind bars after police say he tried to run down two people with his car.

It happened Sunday on the 200 block of Maple Street in Harrison. 

Investigators say the man tried to drive over the two people as they stood in their front yard after an argument over a computer escalated.  The driver ended up hitting a fire hydrant. 

The suspect ran from the scene and was later found at his home.

He faces several charges including felonious assault.
