WASHINGTON -- Nearly 400,000 people are expected to hit the streets of Washington D.C. today for the March for Life rally.

About 100 of those marching will be Traverse City St. Francis students.

The students participated in a youth rally on Thursday and will be marching with other anti-abortion demonstrators Friday morning.

Today's rally kicks off at noon on the National Mall where marchers will hear from speakers, congressional leaders and anti-abortion advocates. Then at 1:30, demonstrators will march along Constitution Avenue until they pass the Supreme Court on Capitol Hill.

The March for Life march is traditionally held on Jan. 22 - the anniversary of Roe v. Wade - but this year had to be rescheduled because of the presidential inauguration.
