Two hospitalized after Gerrish Township head-on crash

ROSCOMMON CO. -- Slippery roads are to blame in a serious head on crash in Gerrish Township this morning.

The crash occurred on County Road 100 just north of County Road 103.

A 73-year-old  James McCully was driving his red Chevy pickup truck north on Co. Rd 100 when he lost control and collided with a white Ford Explorer driven by a 61-year-old Pamela Reicks.

Both drivers were taken to Munson Medical Center in Traverse City where McCully is in critical condition while Reicks is stable.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
