A Mount Pleasant pastor who was charged with murdering a young mother has been deemed competent to stand trial.
John White is charged with killing 24-year-old Rebekah Gay at her home in October and dumping her body in the woods.
Police say he confessed to killing her as part of a sexual fantasy.
Prosecutors will meet with White's lawyer next week to schedule a hearing to determine whether the case goes to
