The St. Ignace Saints hit the court against three-time defending State Champs Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes. And the Saints made it happen, beating Our Lady of the Lakes 59 to 44.

EAST LANSING -- The St. Ignace Girls High School basketball team is bringing home a trophy Saturday night after being crowned state champions.
It was a must-see match up at the Breslin Center in East Lansing Saturday morning, for the Class D Girls Basketball Championship.
The Lady Saints hit the court against three-time defending champs Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes and took the title by 15 points, winning 59 to 44.
This is the second title for the Lady Saints in the past three seasons and their first undefeated season in school history.
