GRAND TRAVERSE -- With winter finally on it's way out and summer getting closer, it may be time to get those bikes out of storage and start thinking about pedaling around town. New technology available has made it even easier to make sure your bike is custom fit right to your body. Jeff Craven, owner of Craven Cycling in Traverse City is the first person in northern Michigan to become a Certified Retul bike fitter.

Retul technology is a cycling-specific 3D motion capture system that tracks a person's body movements through sensors. This is the same technology used by Olympic and Ironman athletes.

The Retul fitting process takes about 2 hours and costs around $250. The only place in northern Michigan to have it done is Craven Cycling located at 214 1/2 E Front Street, Traverse City.
