TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - Colin Quinn will be the opening night act at the Traverse City Winter Comedy Arts Festival this month.

That's according to filmmaker Michael Moore and actor Jeff Garlin, who founded the festival and announced the lineup. The festival runs from Feb. 14-17. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon and are available online at www.wintercomedy.org .

Quinn is known for his role as anchorman on Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" and a one-man Broadway comedy show.

Also performing will be comedian Dick Gregory, who will receive a "legends award" from the festival. Among others scheduled to appear are Robert Wuhl, who played "Arli$$" on HBO, and Susie Essman of the program "Curb Your Enthusiasm."

In addition to the comedy, the festival will feature sporting events such as ice skating and sledding.
