Suspect offers 8-year-old boy candy bar and follows him

WEXFORD CO. -- The Cadillac Police Department is investigating what they're calling a suspicious incident involving an 8-year-old boy. 

It happened on around 4:20 p.m. on Friday afternoon in the Pheasant Ridge Estates.

An 8-year-old boy was walking home from the school bus stop when he says someone pulled up next to him in a gray mid-size car and offered him a candy bar.  The boy said he declined the candy bar and kept walking.  The suspect followed the boy for a short distance and then left the area.

There was no physical attempt to abduct or harm the boy.  There is no description of the suspect at this point.
