TRAVERSE CITY -- The Father Fred Foundation in Traverse City will not be open for client services today, Thursday, January 31, 2013 because of weather conditions.
"This is only the third time in my seven-year history with Father Fred that I can remember closing due to weather," says Father Fred's executive director, Martie Manty.
"However being almost entirely volunteer-run, we must consider the safety of our volunteers as well as that of our guests in making this decision," says Manty.
Weather pending, The Father Fred Foundation will re-open on Friday, February 1, 2013.
