GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY -- Topping the list of many New Year resolutions many people like to switch up their diets by eating healthier, and it doesn't have to be so hard anymore.

Registered dietitian Diane Roach says making peace with the food we eat can help the transition to a healthier lifestyle.

"Intuitive eating is a new approach to eating that helps us make peace with food, enjoy eating, and move away from the dieting mentality," Roach said. The basics haven't been forgotten either. Just starting your day with a glass of water and drinking more of it throughout the day can help you feel great.

The seminar is Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 6 pm at Munson Community Health Center. The event is free and open to the public but registration is requested. (231)935-9265
