CRAWFORD COUNTY -- Donations in any amount for the Duncan family are being accepted at the Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home, PO Box 602, Grayling MI 49738. They are also accepting canned and boxed food, clothing, shoes, hygiene products and toys.

Senta Duncan, 38 and Wyatt Duncan, 5 were found deceased after an early morning fire destroyed their home in Grayling yesterday. The family's pet dog was also found deceased in the home. Crews were called to 708 Vine St. around 7 am Wednesday.

Four other children escaped the fire and ran to a neighbor's house for help. The children, ages 8 to 15, were all taken to the hospital. They were all treated for smoke inhalation and released.

Fire investigators tell  7&4 News the fire started in the living room but don't know the cause or if the home had working smoke detectors.

The father is a truck driver and was not home at the time of the fire.
