School climate change initiative

PETOSKEY -- Camp Daggett's School Climate Change Initiative is a way for camp staff to help students and educators talk about certain social issues.  During a time when people across the country and addressing the shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, the program offers a way to even talk to students about some of the questions they might have.

Drew Baar with Camp Daggett in Petoskey talked about how the program works and what it aims to do for school districts across the region.  Baar says the initiative targets elementary levels through high school and school staff and students are the main focus.
