The fire started around 3 am and quickly spread.
TRAVERSE CITY -- 7&4 News was on the scene early Friday morning of a fully engulfed house fire right off Five Mile Road just outside of Traverse City.
The fire started around 3 am and quickly spread around the home, filling the sky with smoke.
Grand Traverse Metro Fire Department confirmed everyone inside was able to get out safely.
Part of Five Mile Road was closed earlier to allow fire crews room to work. The road is back now back open.
