WEXFORD CO. -- Two drivers were hospitalized in Wexford County Thursday night after both their vehicles collided.

The accident took place at the corner of Boon and Plett Roads shortly after 4 in the afternoon.

Witnesses say the driver of a mini-van failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and hit an SUV.

The two drivers were transported to Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.  Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
