TRAVERSE CITY -- It was all about super-science at Traverse City Central High School and that meant a huge turnout with parents and students.

Central High School hosted the Super Science event in the school cafeteria Saturday morning.  The open house for families provided a hands-on approach to explore science-related themes and demos.

Everything from slime making to driving a lunar rover, even helping build a moon base was available for everyone who attended the event.

Student say they enjoy taking part because of what science and math means to them and the impact it can have on future innovations.
