LAKE CITY -- A man has been arrested in Tuesday night's shooting in Missaukee County.
48-year-old Donald Staats was arrested on Wednesday and charged with Open Murder and Felony Firearms, according to the Missaukee Co. Sheriff's Office.
Shortly before 10 pm Tuesday night, the Missaukee County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting a shooting at Staats' home on Lachance Road near the intersection of M-55 in Lake Township.
46-year-old Charles Cuykendall died at the scene from a gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing.
