TRAVERSE CITY -- The Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College has announced a new Curator of Education.

Jason D. Dake was hired from a national search that attracted over 70 candidates. Dake was employed in the education department of the Flint Institute of Arts before accepting the position at the Dennos.

Dake holds a bachelors degree in Art Education from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Arts Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. As the Curator of Education, Dake will oversee and develop the museum's educational programs for visiting schools and the public.

In addition to his experience in visual arts education, he will be a performer as a guitarist and song writer.
