Missing man treated for exposure and dehydration

HARRIETTA -- A Wexford County man reported missing by his family after he failed to show up at a meeting in Traverse City,  is being treated for exposure and dehydration.

Tony Freese, 44, was last seen by his family Tuesday morning. He was reported missing when he failed to show up at a meeting Tuesday evening. Investigators found Freese's vehicle near Harrietta soon after he was reported missing and after a search of the area, Freese was found about a mile from his car Thursday.

The Wexford County Sheriff's Office was assisted in the search by the Federal Forest Service, members of the Oaks Correctional Facility, Michigan State Police and several K-9 unites from surrounding counties.
