Hundreds of people are heading to Northwestern Michigan College this weekend to discuss ways to make our region more environmentally friendly.
The annual Great Lakes Bioneers Conference got underway today. It's an event for children and adults that includes special lectures, discussions and information about what we can all do to help keep the northern Michigan ecosystems beautiful for generations to come.
Organizers say you'll learn about food, energy, home building, gardening and much more.
