KALKASKA -- Kalkaska Band Boosters is tooting the horn of an area car dealership after students are handed a check for $2,500.

Test-drives in new Dodge vehicles at Bill Marsh created beautiful music for the Kalkaska High School Band Boosters.  The school earned $20 for every person who did a short drive in a new Dodge vehicle during the annual Blazer Bash that was held at the start of the school year.

"With all the financial pressure put on our schools, a program like this becomes an important part of helping students find their passion through music," says Bill Marsh Jr.

This was the third year Bill Marsh conducted a ride-and-drive fundraiser for the Kalkaska schools. This year's event raised a record amount of money.

The dealership supplied a variety of Dodge vehicles for the short test drives including the new Charger, Town and Country and Journey.
