Update: The road has reopened.

TRAVERSE CITY -- 9:45 p.m. Update - The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department says M-37 has reopened to traffic.

Original Story - The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department is on the scene of a three vehicle crash on M-37 near Grouse Drive in Blair Township.

As of 7:45 p.m. Tuesday M-37 is closed to all traffic from Vance Road to Nimrod Road for what sheriff's investigators are calling an undetermined amount of time. No word yet on the extent of injuries, however several ambulances were called to the scene.

Additional information on the crash will be provided at the Sheriff's Department news briefing Wednesday morning at 9 a.m.
