ALANSON -- Police are trying to track down the person responsible for stripping an Amerigas truck of its tools and other equipment.
Michigan State Police are asking for help solving the crime which took place between Sept. 28 and Oct. 1. The Amerigas service truck was parked in the Alanson area when someone broke in and took hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges and brass fittings.
The value of the items stolen is around $5,000.
