Two seriously hurt after car and motorcycle collide

WISE TWP., MICH. -- Two people, including a young boy, were seriously hurt in crash between car and motorcycle in Isabella County.

The crash happened Thursday around 6:30pm in Wise Township, near Coleman.   Police say the car was heading west on Pere Marquette Road when it turned in front of a motorcycle heading east on the same road.

A 42-year-old man and his 12-year-old passenger on the motorcycle were taken to a Flint  hospital with serious injuries.  The driver of the car was not hurt.

All of the people involved in the crash were from Coleman. Seatbelts and helmets were used. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash.

The Michigan State Police are still investigating the crash.
