FIFE LAKE, MI -- A 63-year-old man died after his tractor flipped over on top of him, pinning him underneath it for several days.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office says they were called out to a vacant property on Fife Lake Road in Fife Lake to check on the welfare of the man. When they arrived on Friday afternoon, they found him dead, pinned under his tractor.
It appears the man may have been clearing the land when the accident happened. The tractor was hooked up to a tree stump at the time.
The man has not been identified yet. He is from Warren, Michigan and was visiting the area for a week.
