LELAND -- Leland Township leaders will discuss safety concerns at a popular beach Monday evening.

Brian Rolston, 16, of Leland, died while swimming in Lake Michigan near Van's Beach last month.   Two other people had to be rescued after getting caught in rip currents.

Community members and the Leland Township Board will be discussing whether or not warning signs and rescue rings on the beach will prevent tragedies like this from happening again.

The meeting starts at 7:30p.m. at the Leland Township Library.
