BENZIE COUNTY -- More than 50 high school cross country teams from across the state took the starting line Saturday to compete in the Pete Moss Invitational in Benzie County.
Every single high school in northern Michigan was represented at the cross country challenge Saturday, as well as dozens of schools from downstate.
More than 1,400 boys and girls, of all ages, competed in a 5K cross-country race to the finish line.
