In small towns like Kingsley, the lights that shine above the high school football field are the brightest for miles around. The game, on any given Friday, is usually one of the important things that happens all week. But this week, the action on the field is only part of the story.

Friday night, the community will pay tribute to a former Kingsley football player. United States Marine Sergeant Justin Hansen, who played for the Stags,  was killed during his second tour of duty in Afghanistan in July. It's a loss that will change what this week's game means for everyone who makes their way to Rodes Field.

Please feel free to pass along your thoughts to Justin's family, friends, and the community of Kingsley by posting below.
