Police search for missing elderly man

MANISTEE CO. -- Update Friday 11am: A missing elderly man has been found safe and sound. The Manistee County Sheriff's Office says Robert Yokom, 94, was found in the Copemish area conscious and talking.

Yokom, who is from Copemish was last seen by a neighbor Tuesday around 7pm. Investigators spotted him on surveillance video at Ken's IGA in Mesick on Wednesday from 12:26-12:40pm.

In the surveillance video, Yokom was wearing a light grey coat with a red and blue stripe across the chest.  He also was wearing a light colored button up shirt, dark colored jeans, and a WWII hat that was dark blue with yellow writing on it.

The sheriff's office says they're still investigating.
