CLARE COUNTY -- Authorities in Clare County responded to a dangerous crash Saturday morning involving an Amish buggy.

Clare County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 7:40am Saturday morning, on M-61 -- near south Athey Avenue in Hamilton Township.

A van and an Amish buggy were traveling west on the road, when the driver of the car got distracted and hit the back end of the buggy.

The occupants of the Amish buggy, a young couple and their baby, were thrown to the ground as a result of the crash.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
