Crash remains under investigation
TRAVERSE CITY -- An investigation is underway into a serious motorcycle crash that sent a driver to the hospital.
The accident happened shortly before 10 o'clock Tuesday night at the intersection of Avenue B and Munson Avenue in Traverse City.
Deputies at the scene were still interviewing witnesses and trying to figure out what lead up to the crash.
We do know that the motorcycle rider collided with the SUV, the rider was thrown over several feet into a nearby yard.
The rider was taken to Munson Medical Center with what deputies say were serious injuries.
