TRAVERSE CITY -- A 63-year-old man is in critical condition after crashing during the annual Father Fred benefit motorcycle ride.
The man was traveling southbound on Peninsula Drive near Eastern Avenue when he crossed over the lane and left the road, crashing into a mailbox.
He was treated at the scene and later transported to Munson Hospital. As of Sunday, he was still in critical condition.
